Josh Garcia is a nationally renowned trauma recovery consultant, dynamic speaker, and trusted subject matter expert, distinguished by his unique blend of lived experience and professional expertise in disaster response, community healing, and trauma-informed engagement. For more than a decade, Josh has been at the forefront of national recovery efforts, supporting over 280 communities worldwide in the wake of mass violence, natural disasters, and collective trauma.

He is the visionary co-creator of Aftermath Solutions (After+), an innovative collaboration dedicated to advancing survivor-centered strategies, healing-informed leadership, and meaningful public remembrance after crisis. Josh's work uniquely integrates emotional recovery, public health, and creative expression, empowering individuals and organizations to navigate complex grief and foster long-term resilience.

Josh consults with the U.S. Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center (OVC-TTAC), serves on the Steering Committee of the Disaster Distress Helpline (DDH), and holds board positions with S.T.O.P. and the Colorado Resiliency Life Center. He was appointed to the Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee by the Mayor of Orlando, where he plays a key role in shaping national dialogue on remembrance, healing, and honoring collective loss.

He was instrumental in scaling the Stars of HOPE program into a national initiative under Vibrant Emotional Health, the organization that administers DDH and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (2024). Through visionary leadership, Josh ensured the program remained rooted in art, storytelling, and trauma-informed peer support, inspiring professionals and communities nationwide.

Josh's influential presentations at venues such as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the American Art Therapy Association, along with workshops for leading organizations including CVS Health, Paramount, KPMG, and Dentons, underscore his impact on the field. Dr. Amy O'Neill, LPC, is a distinguished clinician, consultant, trainer, and educator with over 30 years of leadership in the mental health field. As co-founder of Aftermath Solutions (After+), Amy leverages her deep expertise in disaster behavioral health and a survivor-centered philosophy to guide communities through the immediate aftermath and long-term recovery from tragedy.

As both a seasoned practitioner and a survivor of the 2013 Boston Marathon Bombing, Amy offers a unique blend of lived experience and clinical expertise, enriching her support for victims, survivors, families, and communities. Driven by a steadfast mission, she ensures that those affected by mass violence and disaster have access to critical resources, compassionate understanding, and comprehensive support to heal and rebuild.

Amy has consulted and delivered psychoeducation to organizations and communities impacted by mass violence and terror attacks across the United States and internationally. She provides subject matter expertise, strategic guidance, and advanced training to service providers, leaders, and stakeholders—empowering them to implement trauma-informed practices, enhance survivor engagement, and build resilient communities.

Amy's leadership and advisory roles span national and international arenas. She serves as a consultant with the U.S. Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center (OVC TTAC), is a member of the European Union Center for Victims of Terrorism Hub of Experts, and provides expert consultation to the United Nations Office of Counterterrorism. Amy also serves on the Steering Committee of the Disaster Distress Helpline and is a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Team, where she champions effective, compassionate, and survivor-informed response systems.

Sallie Lynch is a highly accomplished consultant with over 25 years of expertise in nonprofit leadership, specializing in tragedy response and community resilience. Known for her ability to facilitate peer connections and long-term healing, Sallie has empowered individuals, families, and communities impacted by terrorism, targeted violence, military conflict, and widescale trauma and loss.

A mass violence response subject matter expert and consultant to the U.S. Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center (OVC-TTAC), she delivers strategic guidance to frontline service providers, community leaders, and survivors in the U.S. and worldwide. Sallie is the visionary co-founder of S.T.O.P. (Survivors of Tragedy Outreach Program), a coalition of survivors and nonprofits impacted by and responding to terrorism and mass violence, and serves on the board of Dignity Beyond Borders, a safe community for global survivors of terrorism, war, and mass violence.

Throughout her career, Sallie has strengthened the capacity of both large and grassroots nonprofits to launch transformative initiatives in disaster response, international victim advocacy, trauma and grief support, counterterrorism and targeted violence prevention, humanitarian relief, education, family engagement, child development, and elder care. As an accomplished fundraiser, Sallie has secured substantial institutional support for high-impact projects addressing trauma, loss, and mass casualty events, including multiyear six- and seven-figure grants from federal and private institutions to advance resilience and recovery programs in response to terrorism, targeted violence, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

An expert facilitator, she has led cross-cultural resource-sharing and training sessions with victim service providers from 34 countries, fostering global collaboration and innovation. Her previous roles include Director of Development at the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, Senior Program and Development Consultant at Tuesday's Children, and Research Coordinator for the FDNY/Columbia University Family Program.

Sallie is an experienced media spokesperson and public speaker, having addressed distinguished audiences at venues such as the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice and the United Nations. She is co-author of "FDNY Crisis Counseling: Innovative Responses to 9/11 Firefighters, Families and Communities" (Wiley, 2006), and her work on long-term healing, community resilience, and peer support has been published in leading U.S. and international journals.

Sallie coordinated a landmark longitudinal research and intervention program for 9/11 widows and children in partnership with Columbia University School of Social Work and the FDNY Counseling Service Unit. She holds an MA in Cultural Anthropology from Columbia University and a BA in Cultural Studies from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. She is certified in Psychological First Aid (PFA) and as a Grief Educator.

Dr. April Naturale, MSW, Ph.D., is a nationally recognized traumatic stress specialist, licensed clinical social worker, and sought-after consultant with over 30 years of leadership in disaster behavioral health and mass violence response. Renowned for her expertise, April has led recovery efforts across more than 40 states, delivering clinical care, pioneering program development, and strategic consultation to communities impacted by terrorism, natural disasters, and large-scale tragedy.

April served as the Statewide Director of Project Liberty, New York's groundbreaking crisis counseling and public education program launched after the 9/11 attacks, and was the principal architect of the Boston Marathon Bombing Behavioral Health Response Program. Between 2015 and 2020, she led needs assessments and facilitated forums for victims, families, and providers following nearly every mass violence incident in the United States, while also training hundreds of humanitarian aid workers across Europe and Africa responding to the refugee crisis.

April's leadership includes serving as Director of Network Development for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Director of the BP Oil Spill Distress Helpline (now the Disaster Distress Helpline), and Director of the 9/11 10th Anniversary Healing and Remembrance Program. Currently, as Associate Vice President for National Crisis and Wellness Programs at Vibrant Emotional Health, she oversees the Disaster Distress Helpline, Veterans Crisis Line, and Lifeline Cares Team, advancing wellness and resilience for crisis responders nationwide.

April earned her MSW from Columbia University and her Ph.D. from New York University, where her doctoral research centered on secondary traumatic stress among responders to the 9/11 disaster. She holds national certification from the ACSW and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Texas.
